The long awaited Acquisition and Transition is well on its way. Since December 29, 2006 at 4:52pm, there have been steady changes in the way we do business. The merger of business systems and processes have been stressful for some of our members. We must be aware that with such an acquisition of this size there has to be change. We are Unionized, and covered by a Solid working agreement until August 2009.

The good news is that AT&T has agreed to return 3,000 jobs to the United States. These positions were outsourced by Bellsouth. AT&T has also agreed that 200 of these jobs will go to our brothers and sisters in New Orleans.
